    Business Challenge

SAMS Sigma, a mission-critical identity and access management platform for publisher, consortium, and individual access, was running on AngularJS 1.x after the framework reached end-of-life. The client needed to remove security exposure, reduce maintenance risk, improve accessibility, and modernize performance without changing the workflows familiar to a large daily user base or touching stable backend APIs.

    Solution Overview

DIATOZ delivered a phased module-by-module migration to React, using the legacy AngularJS application as the source of truth for pixel-level parity. Dashboard, Publisher Management, Consortium Management, License Management, Voucher Management, Reports, Configurations, and related modules were rebuilt with accessibility and security guardrails baked in, including Axe and Lighthouse checks, OWASP-aligned frontend practices, CSP and XSS prevention, secure storage patterns, and continuous regression testing.

    Architecture & Engineering

React frontend re-platforming with module-by-module parity against AngularJS workflows
Unchanged backend APIs and data contracts to keep migration scope controlled
Accessibility workstream using Axe and Lighthouse for WCAG 2.1 validation
Security hardening with OWASP practices, CSP, XSS prevention, and secure storage patterns
Automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing across migrated modules

    Business Impact

Retired unsupported AngularJS 1.x risk while preserving the established user experience
Expanded long-term maintainability through React ecosystem and talent availability
Improved accessibility and browser performance for enterprise and institutional users
Enabled a smooth transition with UAT sign-off, documentation, hyper-care, and knowledge transfer

    Why DIATOZ

DIATOZ treated modernization as both an engineering and change-management problem: invisible to users where it needed to be, materially stronger under the hood where it mattered.
